Create a one-of-a-kind postcard inspired by Washington, DC.
In this workshop, you’ll learn simple collage techniques and use them to make a postcard inspired by Washington, DC.
We’ll work with images from books, magazines, and paper ephemera, including materials connected to the city. You’re also welcome to bring small items from your time in the city: maps, tickets, brochures, or other paper keepsakes.
This experience is perfect for visitors who want a creative way to remember their time in DC and for locals who want to see the city from a new angle.
At the end of the workshop, you can write a note on the back of your postcard and choose to mail it or keep it as a small piece of your time in the city.
No prior art experience necessary.
