Note: This series occurs from 7pm to 9pm MDT on June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.

Do you struggle with overwhelming emotions? You’re not alone! This workshop series is designed to help individuals struggling with emotion regulation learn some skills and strategies to better support themselves.

We will be going through material from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), a well-evidenced psychotherapy model designed to support individuals struggling with overwhelming emotions and emotional distress. In the first week we'll discuss trauma and the nervous system to start us off with a solid foundation of understanding, and then in each following week we will discuss one of the four core modules of DBT:

  • Mindfulness
  • Distress Tolerance
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness
  • Emotion Regulation
