Alyssa DeCaro offers 24 years of experience as an embodiment coach, group facilitator, yoga teacher, dancer, and musician. She founded Body of Sound in 2006 with a mission to uplift and inspire through music, movement and community and to tune up your body as your most essential instrument. She has presented at numerous venues including opening the TED Conference in Long Beach, California to leading several 5 day retreats at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, to leading an off-site for Genentech and Roche in Lucerne, Switzerland. She has led thousands of people in synchronized rhythm and movement at festivals including Bottlerock, Burning Man, Lightning In A Bottle, High Sierra Music Festival, Joshua Tree Music Festival, Texas Eclipse Festival, Dreaming In The Desert, Mountain Magic Camp, Troubadour, Gaia Festival, SoulPlay, Bahootenzie, and the Festival of Love. Yes, we'll serve a delicious, healthy vegetarian lunch!

Is this indoors or outdoors

This is mostly indoors for the movement and meditation practice. However there is an optional hike right outside the doors if you choose to enjoy that during the break.

Do I need to bring my own mat and props?

Yes! Please bring your own yoga mat plus any props you may need. If you don't have these, just let us know prior to the event at info@bodyofsound.com.
