Interested in learning more about Gabrielino-Tongva indigenous peoples? Join us for a day of service at Kuruvungna Springs in Los Angeles, CA and learn about the work the Gabrielino-Tongva Foundation is doing to preserve this heritage site and the natural and cultural resources of this area.
Through this event, you will learn about the history of the Sacred Springs, help preserve and restore the Springs, and learn what we all can do to continue to help maintain the historic Gabrielino-Tongva village site.
This event is hosted by the Central Santa Monica Bay watershed coordinators for the LA County Safe Clean Water Program from Heal the Bay, in collaboration with the Gabrielino-Tongva Foundation.
Registration in advance is required and adults must agree to the terms of the waiver when registering. Minors must have a guardian complete a waiver on their behalf before the event.
