Grace will be creating a choreographic work exploring how the Apollonian-Dionysian divide described in Nietzsche’s The Birth of Tragedy can be expressed through movement. Aria is exploring the impacts of Bella Lewitzky in modern dance, particularly through the evolution of the Horton Technique. She will choreograph a piece through a feminist lens that is based on her findings. India will be looking into the concept of Lesbian Existence through different forms of literature and media, as well as feminist performance art resulting in choreographic work. Brigid will be sharing a solo work conceptualizing dreams and ambitions, and Emily will be sharing a presentation on her work into developing Dance Movement Therapy practices for elementary age students.
