We're bringing dating back to the pub and handing the power to the people who know you best: your friends.

Date My Mate is a dating event hosted by Nice and Local, and led by comedian Elliot Powell,where friends can pitch their mates to a room full of singles. Think speed dating but with slides, jokes and significantly better odds.

Each presenter has two minutes to make their case and pitch their single friend. Once all presentations are done, you'll have loads of time to spare at the end of the night to shoot your shot with whoever caught your eye.

Choose your ticket type:

• The Presenter: You have 2 minutes and a PowerPoint deck to convince the room why your single mate is the ultimate catch. You can go as rogue as you like, no slide limit, just make sure you can deliver it in under 2 minutes. Make sure your single mate grabs themselves a Spectator ticket.
• The Spectator: Whether you're single being presented or just here for the drama and the laughs, grab a ticket, enjoy the free drink and help us judge the best (and worst) pitches of the night.

Male & Female tickets available. LGBTQI+ event dropping in May.

Timings:

• Doors open: 5pm
• Presentations start: 6:45pm
• Presentations end: 9pm

Ts and Cs:

• All genders and preferences are welcome. Although a LGBTQI+ date is dropping for early May.
• Must be 25+.
• If you've bought a presenter ticket, you must email your presentation to DMC@nice-drinks.co.uk by Tuesday, 21st April.
• Please note: only 15 presenters will be chosen out of the 30 presenter tickets, this is to ensure we have a good split of genders. We will let you know either way, if you have been selected to pitch on the night.
• Please arrive ready to kick off at 6:15pm latest.
