Data Visualization Society Coworking Session

Welcome to the Data Visualization Society's Collaborative Coworking Sessions, where productivity meets community! Designed for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and professionals of all backgrounds, our coworking events provide the perfect setting to focus on your goals, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and hold each other accountable, all within a supportive and dynamic environment.

What to Expect:

• Intention Setting: At the start of each session, attendees will be invited to share their goals and intentions for the day. This is not just about what you want to achieve, but how you want to feel during the process.
• Pairing and Grouping: Based on your goals for the session, you'll be paired or grouped with other attendees. This system is designed to foster mutual support, collaboration, and accountability, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to make the most out of the coworking experience. If you need more specific help, there'll be an "Office Hours" breakout room where you can ask questions, bounce ideas, and more.
• Focused Work Time: Dive into your work with the support of your group. Whether you’re tackling a challenging project, brainstorming new ideas, or simply catching up on emails, the collective energy of the group will keep you motivated and focused.
• Check-In and Reflection: At the end of the session, we'll regroup to reflect on our progress. This is a time to celebrate achievements, share learnings, and discuss any obstacles you faced. It’s all about recognizing the effort, regardless of the outcome.

Event Details:

• Dates: Every second Wednesday of the month (with the exception of June, when it will be the first Wednesday due to conflict with Outlier)
• Time: 5pm EST
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Structure: Introductions and grouping for the first ten minutes, followed by two 35-minute work sessions with a 5-minute break in between, and the last five minutes saved for progress updates.
