<h3>LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS EVENT:</h3> <h3>Data Visualization </h3>Learn how to organize and present your data in visually appealing and understandable ways with consideration towards data equity.This workshop may be a great fit for you if you:<ul><li>Have quantitative data you'd like to turn into clear, compelling visuals that help communicate a message.</li><li>Are familiar with basic data collection concepts and terminology, such as survey tools and sample size.</li><li>Have foundational Excel skills, including creating charts.</li><li>Have an understanding of and interest in applying equity principles in public health work.</li></ul>This workshop is designed for participants who are ready to build on these skills and explore effective ways to communicate data through visualization.NOTE: You only have to register for one of the dates (September 15 or November 17). <h4>Sliding Scale Fee:</h4>☐ Community member / volunteer — $0☐ Small organization — $50☐ Mid-sized organization — $90☐ Large organization / system — $160Please select the category that best describes your organization. Fees are based on organizational size and resources, not individual role or salary.We use a trust-based model and do not require documentation. If cost is a barrier at any level, please contact us to request an adjustment.

<h4>Gina Sommerville</h4>Gina Sommerville (MPH, MA) combines a background in sociolinguistics and health behavior in her current work as in evaluation and data analysis at Oregon Health &amp; Science University. She believes the strongest public health efforts focus on how we do the work, not just what we do—with an emphasis on data equity. Her training approach is interactive and welcoming, encouraging participation, questions, and connection.<h4>Kaitlin Greene</h4>Kaitlin Greene (MPH) is the Central Oregon Community Research Associate for the Oregon Health &amp; Science University. She connects communities throughout Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties with research technical assistance to build capacity and improve health outcomes. She believes community engagement practices are the key to ensuring that research brings real solutions to our pressing health needs.
