Two half-day remote, hands-on learning to future-proof yourself for the job market of tomorrow.

Led by Rebeca Pop, Founder of Vizlogue and Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University, and Tom Welgemoed, Founder of Decision Crew and ex-Accenture.Are you dreaming of a career in data science, analytics, or research? Elevate your data management, analysis, and storytelling skills with a bootcamp that will help you start or continue your journey.To ensure an excellent learning experience and allow for a high degree of personal interaction, this bootcamp is limited to 30 participants. <h3>VIRTUAL WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE</h3>This is a hands-on workshop. You’ll be working in groups to clean, transform, analyze and visualize a given data set. At the end of the workshop, you’ll have a project that you can share with your peers, employer, or recruiters. The bootcamp incorporates polls, discussions, and even a game! Eight-hour workshop (split across two days): •	Thursday, March 31: 10 am – 2 pm EST•	Friday, April 1: 10 am – 2 pm ESTFor this training, we are partnering with the <a href="http://www.maxfoundation.org/en/home/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Max Foundation</a>, a wonderful non-profit organization that seeks to reduce child stunting in some of the worst affected parts of the world. The Max Foundation will provide the data sets that we'll be using for exercises.<h3>REQUIREMENTS:</h3>•	Prior to the bootcamp, you’ll be asked to install Alteryx on your computer, and create a Figma and RAWGraphs account. Tom is an experienced data engineering and visualization trainer &amp; consultant with more than 15 years of advising clients and consulting on data strategy, implementation, and architecture. He has a passion for innovating with data, but also for keeping things simple and scalable. A further passion is some of the amazing tools that we teach in this course, i.e. Alteryx &amp; Snowflake. When it comes to data coaching, his goals are to coach real-world implementation and practical skills that can be applied immediately once you complete the training.Outside of the above he is a father of 2 beautiful (and busy!) children (ages 4 and 7).<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/rebecapop/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rebeca</a> is the founder of Vizlogue, a Data Visualization and Storytelling Lab that offers training and consulting services. Vizlogue's mission is to help companies and organizations communicate more effectively with data.Rebeca has delivered workshops to over 2,500 participants all around the world. Her workshops are grounded in a deep understanding of adult learning strategies and combine hands-on exercises with feedback sessions and real-life examples. Rebeca is also an Adjunct Professor in data visualization and storytelling at the University of Chicago and at Northwestern University.When she's not working on a data visualization project, she loves biking, hiking, and traveling. Tom and Rebeca will provide an overview of each tool.Q: Will I be a pro at using Alteryx, Snowflake, RAWGraphs or Figma after this bootcamp?A: The bootcamp will provide an introduction to these tools.Q: Is this a tool-focused bootcamp?A: Not necessarily. Tom and Rebeca believe that tools and knowledge of key concepts are equally important. They will be teaching you best practices in data analysis and data visualization, while using Alteryx, Snowflake, RAWGraphs and Figma to showcase these concepts.
