Data Rescue Boulder

I created Data Rescue Boulder to focus on archiving and saving dataset information that would be of interest, or of critical need to the CU Boulder and local scientific community.

<P CLASS="_2yuf img _8o _8r">I created Data Rescue Boulder to focus on archiving and saving dataset information that would be of interest, or of critical need to the CU Boulder and local scientific community and which is part of the public data that is quickly disappearing from access.  Data created and used by agencies such as the EPA, NOAA, CDC, and the CENSUS Bureau.</P>

<P>Research is not only conducted through these local agencies, but is utilized by the many departments within the University.  Obviously a loss of access to this data would be devastating to researchers, students and the public.  Data Rescue Boulder part a larger, national effort, organize by Data Refuge and the Environmental Data Governance Intiative, and all Data Rescue activity is also coordinated with the goals and outcomes which we are proud to support, and who's logo we've been allowed to display on our FB page and on Twitter.</P>
