Early Career Community Events

Events hosted by the Early Career Director at the Data Visualization Society. While these events are tailored to meet the needs of the early career community, everyone, with experience and expertise across the board, is welcome to attend.

Join us for a gathering of creating, sharing, and connecting! Data Craft Circle is a space to bring your data encoding creativity whether you bead, collage, embroider, or just want to try something new. Come with a project in progress or start something fresh; we’ll have some guiding prompts to help you get started.This is a free virtual event presented by the<a href="https://www.datavisualizationsociety.org/" title="https://www.datavisualizationsociety.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Data Visualization Society</a> and is open to the public to join. How it worksAs we work on our respective projects, we’ll have some informal conversation. You are welcome to chat and share ideas or just lock in on your project and enjoy the quiet focus. At the end, we’ll save time for some (very optional) “show and tell.” We will alternate the time of this event each month to be inclusive of various time zones.
