We are thrilled to open registration for Data Con LA, formerly known as Big Data Day LA.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at the University of Southern California.
Data Con LA, formerly known as Big Data Day LA, is the largest data conference of its kind in Southern California. Spearheaded by Subash D’Souza, and organized and supported by a community of volunteers, sponsors, and speakers, Data Con LA features the most vibrant gathering of data and technology enthusiasts in Los Angeles. DCLA started in 2013 with over 250 attendees, and has grown over the years with 550+ attendees in 2014, 950+ in 2015, 1250+ in 2016, 1550+ in 2017 and 1800+ in 2018. We expect over 2000 attendees this year.
Data Con LA sessions typically cover the most in-demand topics of the day in areas such as Data, AI/ ML/ Data Science, Emerging Tech, Visualizations/ UI/ Use Cases, Infrastructure & Security.
Based on your feedback from last year, we made some changes to this year’s format:

When will the event be held?
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at the University of Southern California.
Is there a minimum age requirement to enter the event?
While there is no minimum age, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no fee for children under age 12. Children ages 13 -17 can register with the code "DCLACHILD" for 50% off.
Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
Wine and Beer will be served at the networking session after the event, please bring an ID for the same. Also Students availing of the student discount need to have a valid student id at check in.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We highly encourage using public transportation.
The Metro Expo Line serves the USC community. Get off at the Expo Park/ USC station and walk towards USC. You will enter through Trousdale Pkway.
The event registration will be at Bovard Auditorium, which is approx a 5 min walk on your left.
Parking is available at the following locations on campus. There is a parking fee to park on campus.

Access: Entrance via USC Gate #5 at McClintock and Jefferson. Pick up the parking pass and drive down 34th St. to PSD.

What's the refund policy?
Full refunds 30 days prior to the event. No refunds after.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We highly encourage you to print tickets prior to the event. Tickets will be sent to all attendees as we get closer to the event. Will call will be available but please expect wait times.
