The Dash Bash 2025 Workshop Series, brought to you by Red Hat, is an extension of the Dash Bash conference which celebrates creativity, community, and inclusivity in the motion design industry. For one full day in Raleigh, NC on June 11th, 2025 we'll bring together some of the best creatives in the animation and video production space for four workshops and an evening party to socialize, learn, and grow as creatives.

Frequently asked questions

How far is Red Hat Tower from the Dash Bash main venue (Martin Marietta Performing Arts Center)?

The Red Hat Tower is about a 6 minute walk from the Martin Marietta Performing Arts Center. If you have a hotel downtown and close to the venue the workshops will be walkable for you.

What is the parking situation like?

The parking garage is at City Center Red Hat Parking Deck - 429 S. Wilmington Street Raleigh, NC 27601. You'll get your parking verified on the 9th floor of the Tower and the workshops are being held on the 8th floor.

What should I bring to the workshops?

No equipment will be needed for the workshops though we do suggest a pen and paper and a empty refillable water bottle since it will be a full day event.

Is the workshop ticket separate from the Dash Bash tickets?

Yes. This is an extra ticket you must purchase through Eventbrite to attend the June 11th festivities. You can purchase a Dash Bash ticket via Ticketmaster (https://www.dashbash.net/tickets) and that will will get you into all the events on June 12th and 13th.

Why are workshop tickets through EventBrite and the main Bash tickets through Ticketmaster?

The Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts (where the main Dash Bash event is taking place) has a contract with Ticketmaster. Since we have more flexibility with the workshops, we chose Eventbrite.

Can I just attend the workshop series and not the Bash?

Yes! While we think you’ll have the most fun attending both the Bash and optional third day of workshops, you can just buy a ticket to the workshop if you would like.
