Overview

Learn how to decoratively patch holes in your most beloved knit items.

Learn how to patch your most beloved knits using darning, where you weave through and over the affected area with needle and thread. Darning is a great solution for any knit garment, even T-shirts and sweatshirts. Bring in your winter socks or your favorite sweater and we'll choose the right plan for you. We'll explore thread choice, reinforcement stitches, and creating plaids, checks, or stripes. Handstitching experience is a plus, but is not required. Materials will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own clothes, but a fabric sample can be provided for you.
