Here, my partner and I welcome you to a new evening of speed dating with a twist. It's more like slow dating; an experience of cultivating true presence and intimacy, without the kind of instant judgement you get at a regular speed dating event. Our methods are based on tantric philosophy, and you'll get to learn fun and practical skills, get creative, give and receive massage, and also enjoy food while meeting other men who are looking for love, pleasure, intimacy and friendship.

About tantra

You may have heard about tantra. It's become somewhat of a buzzword. You might have ideas about what tantra is; perhaps the word fills you with a sense of mystery, or excitement, or exoticism. You might have ideas about what it is through celebrities, or advertising, or through reading the Kama Sutra. Many people have the preconception that it's all about sex - which is a misconception, although tantra and sex to go very well together.

The style of tantra I teach is based simply upon the cultivation of presence and expanded awareness. I use various techniques involving the 5 senses, the breath, yoga and massage to harness the power of presence - something which can really enhance your experience of dating, bonding, playing and also being in a relationship.

About the event

It's a pilot event co-created betwen my partner, Ravi Rose and I, Phoenix Moon. We are a polyamorous couple who have set up this event out of a desire to bring something new and fresh to the age-old experience of dating and hooking up. We know the frustrations. It can feel harder than ever to find a true connection in an increasingly distracted world in which our relationships appear to get increasingly fleeting, conditional and complicated - so we want to bring it back to basics. This is about first, connecting to yourself, and then connecting to others. You will have the opportunity to connect with every man, to spend a little time together, and to engage in an activity like mutual massage or something creative like the crafting of an oil blend. The idea is to get you out of your mind, through your body and your senses, and into presence, where you can truly connect.

I am what's known as a continuous cruiser (no pun intended!) which means I move my boat every two weeks.
