Dancing Therapy: Los Angeles's Premiere Italo Disco Soiree returns to our proving grounds of Downtown Los Angeles. Formerly at the Lash and an anniversary at The Regent.. we haven't been back in the neighborhood in a bit.. but that all changes this friday as we make our debut at the legendary BAR FRANCA - now curated by our friends at Midnight Lovers.

We're bringing back our original party name that we started with "DANCING THERAPY" along with 2 special guests who have been a big part of our party from the very beginning.. our italo CORE believers.

Join us for an all vinyl night of music and friends 9PM-2AM as we present a mixture of classic Italo Disco, New Wave, Hi NRG + Post Punk paired with the City's finest cocktails and space to move.

DINO SOCCIO (PLEASURE OF LOVE / RAZOR 'N TAPE)

DJ/Producer Dino Soccio creates house and disco records and other funky oddities inspired by sounds found on dance floors around the world. With releases on Razor N Tape, Deep & Disco, Mute Recordings, Editorial, and classic Italo label High Fashion Music, Soccio has emerged as one of LA's finest imported talents both as a crate digger and producer. 2018 and 2019 were busy years as a DJ, supporting Moon Boots, Roy Davis Jr., Jacques Renault, Alex From Tokyo, and Yuksek meanwhile continuing a residency in Hollywood called Pleasure of Love.

With Pleasure of Love, a weekly deep disco and international funk exploration, Soccio has hosted the likes of Tom Noble (Superior Elevation), Turbotito (Poolside/Tito Records), Martín Miguel (Better Listen Records label head), Trujillo (True Class/Berlin), Aaron Dae & Jkriv (Razor N Tape label), Stacy Christine, Club Tularosa (Man Power), Moon Boots (Anjuna Deep), Dobao (High Life/Buenos Aires), Bears in Space (Muy Muy Limited/LA), Daniel T (Heat-Wave, Let's Play House), Cooper Saver (Internasjonal/Far Away), DJ Duckcomb (Emotional Rescue/Cultures of Soul), and many others. The success of Pleasure of Love has led to a white label series that launched February, 2018- an extension of the sounds and edits made for the party.

Soccio’s latest release on Razor N Tape came out in late July, hailed by Juno as “a quartet of killer cut-jobs that bounce between sumptuous, string-laden, French-Afro-disco (the superb "Fred's Groove"), sparkling up-tempo disco-boogie brilliance, languid deep disco warmth, and ultra-sweet, reggae-influenced Afro-boogie heat.” Early support from Nick the Record, Ben Goromi, Beats in Space’s Tim Sweeney, DJ Rocca, John Gomez, and others. A few more releases will round out the year on Paris’ Mister T Records, Take Away, and London’s Kampana Records along with a 4 tracker on his own Pleasure of Love (out Sept 1st)
