Hailing from Spanish Town, Jamaica I am Wanda, your Dancehall 101 Instructa!
This is a special collab class led by both myself and Noel aka "Millitan" from Black Heart Dancers and Color Code Dancers in Spanish Town, JA. Come join us for a fun-filled hour of learning the hottest dancehall moves! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer, this event is perfect for anyone looking to groove to the latest dancehall beats.
We will guide you through basic steps and help you master the fundamentals of dancehall dancing. Get ready to sweat, laugh, and move your body in ways you never thought possible!
No experience necessary - just bring your energy and enthusiasm! (And maybe a sweat rag and some water lol). Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of dancehall.

The time to prepare your bodies for the experience you are about to have.
Choreography Break-Down
Here I will break down the 30-45 sec routine that I have prepared for you all. Each class will highlight a different set of 2 or 3 dancehall dance moves that will be the highlights of the choreography, that I will give the most attention to. I will do my best to provide you with the name of the move as well as the name of it's original creator, so that you have everything you need to "pocket" these moves for future use!
Dancehall Cyah Stall
This is your moment! It's time to showcase what you've learnt! Note that I usually capture this portion of the class on video and share it on my dance page, so if you do not want to be captured, do not hesitate to let me know so we can have some camera-less moments as well.
