Dance Performance & Workshop: Unkempt

"Unkempt" is a love letter to the soft mammal fuzz on our skin, a middle finger to shame and stigma, and a retrospective on why we've come to groom how we groom. This dance theatre performance weaves together research and diverse personal stories that explore the past and present of body hair removal practices and expectations. The performance will be followed by an accessible and interactive workshop incorporating dance, writing, and conversation about body hair. No dance experience is required. All ages welcome. Just bring your sense of humor, a healthy dose of curiosity, and a willingness to think outside the box.
