Dance for Dance for Social Change 2024 - 37th Anniversary is MDD’s annual community celebration and fundraiser. Our annual party raises critical awareness and funds needed to support our mission and programs. We use dance to engage and empower NYC students through performance and education.
Dance for Dance for Social Change 2024 - 37th Anniversary includes a presentation, silent auction, live shout-out auction, dance lesson, and some 37th Anniversary surprises. The event will be back in person this year in the Lower East Side of Manhattan on May 9th!
Every year our supporters can designate that their donations support the D4D attendance of the students, families, teachers, and school community members we serve. D4D TICKETS AND SPONSORSHIPS- Sponsor a classroom or adopt a school to share the wealth and resources with our most disenfranchised, economically challenged, and under-resourced NYC neighbors. $1 helps.
SPONSORSHIPS
$20,000 Cha-Cha
12 event tickets, ensures a 16-week dance and literacy program for 80 children. We will acknowledge your donation by an announcement at the event, your name or logo will be featured on the program and website, and your name or logo will appear in event e-blasts.
$10,000 Mambo
8 event tickets, ensures a 16-week dance and literacy program for 40 children. We will acknowledge your donation with an announcement at the event, and your name or logo will be featured on the program and website.
$5,000 Swing
4 event tickets, ensures a 16-week dance and literacy program for 20 children. We will feature your name or logo on the program and website.
$2,500 Samba
2 event tickets, funds 8 weeks of a dance and literacy program for 20 children. We will feature your name or logo on the program and website.
INDIVIDUAL TICKETS
$1,000 Merengue
1 event ticket, supports 2 teachers’ participation in our Professional Learning Program.
$500 Hip Hop
1 event ticket, sends 1 classroom to view a professional online dance performance.
$250 Jive
1 event ticket, provides more than 6 dance & literacy lessons for 1 child.
$100 Salsa
1 event ticket, funds more than 2 hours of dance & literacy lessons for 1 child.
