Dance Camp 409

Join us for our 2nd annual Dance Camp 409! Get ready for a day of dancing fun at Holiday Inn & Suites Beaumont-Plaza (I-10 & Walden), an IHG Hotel! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer or cheerleader, our dance camp has something for everyone. Dance Camp 409 begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM. Learn from professional NFL and NBA Cheerleaders, perfect your technique, and make new friends along the way. Get ready for a full day of dancing and show off your skills on the dance floor. We are even offering a special room rate that includes breakfast if you are traveling from out of town!

This year, we are also offering a high-energy master class for youth, ages 13 and older! Our master class begins at 2:30 PM and ends at 4:30 PM. This master class is perfect for those currently on and/or aspiring to be on dance and drill teams at their schools. This master class will count as 2 summer training hours!

Frequently asked questions

Does my child need prior dance or cheer experience?

Not at all! We welcome all levels of dancers and cheerleaders! Our master class for ages 13 and up will be a workshop and more advanced. All dancers and cheerleaders of every ability level are welcome!

What should my child wear?

Please dress your child in black shorts or pants/leggings and sneakers. We will provide each child with a camp t-shirt they will change into once he/she arrives. If your child is attending our master class for ages 13 +, he/she may wear whatever they please!

Can boys attend?

Absolutely! Our camp is gender-neutral!

What is the age requriement?

Dance Camp 409 is open to campers between the ages of 6 and 12 years old by July 27, 2024. If your child is 13 and older, please register him/her for our masterclass occurring on the same day! If your child is 13 and older, register for the master class ticket at checkout!

Is lunch provided?

Yes! Lunch is provided for Dance Camp 409 ages 6-12! Dancers attending our master class should eat a good lunch before attending at 2:30 PM!

Do you offer refunds?

Reservations for Dance Camp 409 are nonrefundable. Food, beverages, and camp supplies are purchased in advance based on the number of attendees. These purchases are nonrefundable to us, therefore we cannot offer refunds once tickets are purchased. Thank you for understanding!

Will the hotel provide a special rate for campers who wish to stay overnight?

Yes! We are excited to offer a special group code on a variety of room options at our camp venue. These special rates also includes breakfast! The group code will be shared via email after your purchase of Dance Camp 409!

Dance Camp 409 was once a passion idea by my father after witnessing me live out my dream as an NFL Cheerleader and NBA Dancer. After becoming the 2023 Pro Bowl Cheerleader, my father encouraged me to take my knowledge and experience to the youth in our community. After months of contemplating my next dance direction, and whether or not I have the courage behind it, I decided to take the plunge and launch an official cheer and dance camp, the first of its kind in Southeast Texas!
