An Acoustic Evening with Dan Durkin from Petty Theft and The ILLEAGLES! <ul><li>Lead singer/Main Vocalist at Petty Theft - San Francisco Tribute to Tom Petty</li></ul> <ul><li>Guitar,Keyboards,Vocals at Illeagles - The premier tribute to the music of the Eagles</li></ul> <ul><li>Musician at Drummer, Vocals for Revolver</li></ul> Dan Durkin, Singer-Songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area spent his formativeyears in Long Island before moving to California with his family. Playing music since hewas five, it was natural that Dan would begin forming local Bay Area bands in his midteens. As singer for the group Frontline, Dan's group went all the way to the finalcompetition for "Yamaha's Sound Check" talent search and courted by many recordlabels. In the mid 90’s he formed another band, East Of Eden. The band chartednationally on the College Radio Charts with their song, “Long Night” and opened showsfor Michael McDonald, Chris Isaak, 4 Non Blonds and even drummer Pete Best of TheBeatles. When in the studio, Dan is a prolific songwriter and plays guitar, keyboards,drums, harmonica and bass (he can do it all!). Dan fronts Petty Theft (SF), The Tom PettyTribute which tours nationally and also IllEagles, a tribute to The Eagles for his day job!!
