We are so excited to take you on safari that we're getting squirrelly! We will be sending you details about your Backyard Safari shortly.

Spend an evening learning about the wildlife that build their homes along the Boise River, including beavers*, amphibians, reptiles and birds. We’ll explore a local beaver dam and learn about the important impact it has on the local ecosystem. As dusk approaches, we’ll relax next to the Boise River to learn about the amphibians and their calls. This Backyard Safari includes walking on pavement and dirt trail for approximately 1 mile. Bathrooms are accessible at the beginning of the safari in Marianne Williams Park. We will be driving a short distance from there and walking to the main location. Attendees should bring binoculars, camping or other portable chair, cellphone with Seek app loaded, and water or beverage of your choice (alcohol is not allowed along the Boise River).This Backyard Safari is available for up to 12 guests. If there are fewer than 5 guests registered the day before the event reserve the right to cancel the event and reschedule you or refund your tickets.*Due to their nocturnal nature, we do not expect to see beavers during this Backyard Safari.
