Tommy Hart [SIC; Cuidad Mexico, MX]

Tommy Hart’s fresh take on swinging classic house rhythms combined with contemporary club music makes him one of the most exciting new faces on the scene, and his infectious energy sets him apart from the rest.Born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas, his father’s extensive vinyl collection and affinity for the classics instilled an appreciation for old soul and 80s synth from a young age, and he’s been dancing ever since.

Through live performance, curatorial projects, and supervision for fashion media and short films, music has always been the through-line for Hart’s different mediums of self-expression, and a formal training in the fine arts helped him to develop an ear for music that makes you want to move. Coming into himself in the underground scene in Brooklyn, he is heavily influenced by the history of New York house and the burgeoning underground scene in Mexico City.

Since the beginning of his career, he’s enjoyed success in both commercial and underground spaces, straddling the worlds of branded fashion events and gallery shows, to pulsing raves and mega clubs with ease. He loves to discover new music while digging through record labels and catalogues and relishes the challenge of hand-picking the perfect tracks for every occasion.

Hart is a resident DJ at [sic] community club in Mexico City and can be found behind the decks in clubs across North America on any given weekend. His musical selections span from funky garage tracks to boppy, hard-hitting house and techno, reflecting of his southern charm and international edge.
