The Art Deco Society of California (ADSC) was founded in 1981 by architectural historian Michael Crowe and other preservationists in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a not-for-profit [501(c)3] membership organization. Our goals are to increase public awareness of the Art Deco era through preservation and promotion of its art, architecture, music, design, and other forms of popular culture.

You are cordially invited by Daisy Buchanan to spend a glorious late afternoon dining and dancing on the Magnolia Terrace of the historic Maple Lawn Estate in San Rafael.Tickets Sales end Friday, June 3. No tickets will be sold at the door. Update: Premium seating under the tent is going fast - only 17 seats left. Regular seats under umbrellas or trees are still available. Tables seat 8 and seating is included with your ticket. Please include the names of the people you would like at your table with your reservation.Daisy is serving a 3-course, sit-down dinner. Please be on time for her caterer.4 pm - cocktails &gt; 5 pm - appetizers &gt; 6 pm - entrée &gt; 7 pm - dessert Please select the chicken or vegetarian entrée option with your order.No-Host Cocktails (mixed drinks, wine &amp; beer) will be available. Drink tickets are for sale in advance and at the event. Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary (water, ice tea, lemonade) .Dancing to the world-renowned Gunhild Carling Band! Gunhild, the Swedish Queen of Swing, performed for King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden’s Ruby Jubilee, and her band plays exciting hot jazz of the 1920s - '40s.Attire Gatsby picnic outfits or summer afternoon formal wear. Period or period-inspired attire admired.Parking Limited mobility impaired parking on the grounds. Guests can be dropped off at the entrance of the Magnolia Terrace: enter at the main gate, follow the directions of volunteers to drop off area. Driver must then exit and park. Additional parking in lots at C Street and Mission and C street and 5th a few blocks from the venue. Cancellation Policy Tickets are transferable until June 3, so if you find someone who will buy your ticket, you can change the name on the ticket. Since this is a fundraiser, we hope you will consider the ticket(s) as a donation.If you transfer your ticket, you must contact ADSC (Zelda@artdecosocietyofcalifornia.org) with your change so we can have the proper email for communication, and name on the registration list. Remember, if someone's name is not on the list, they will be denied entry. Check in at the entrance. Your reservation will be on our list. If your name is not on the list, you will not be allowed entry, no exceptions.We will observe current COVID guidelines in place at the time of the event.We remind all guests to please drink responsibly and assign a designated driver.Sponsored by the Art Deco Society and the Elks Lodge of San Rafael.
