James Lopata, Your Chief Meditation Officer: "Overwhelmed, I began daily meditation in my 5th floor walk-up studio on 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan in 1991. Since then, I've meditated in numerous traditions and in rooms with the Dalai Lama and Thich Naht Hahn. In 2012 I received a Master’s Degree studying Buddhism and meditation from Harvard Divinity School, where I also taught meditation at the Center for the Study of World Religions. I am currently sought after as an accomplished executive coach supervisor and keynote speaker. I serve as Board President for the Greater Boston Zen Center, where I am also a Practice Leader. I've been published widely, including two books on leadership, with Routledge, Forbes and The New York Times. And I love zany monk stories from the Zen koan tradition!"
