What will I be doing at Betty’s Workbee?

We assign tasks at the start of the day at 9:00 AM. If you have a particular interest, let us know! Our goal is to use each volunteer’s strengths as much as possible. Here are some areas we plan to tackle:

Remove invasive plants

Place woodchips on the Natural Playscape

Weeding around the buildings

Put the gardens to bed for the winter

Wash windows and indoor walls (hallway and restrooms)

Wash bird feeders

We welcome you to bring your own equipment, such as rakes, garden shears, shovels, and other tools that will help with the process. Friendly reminder: dress for the weather, and bring your work gloves and a full bottle of water! Most participants will be working outdoors. THANK YOU for your consideration and support for Jackson’s Nature Place.

Feel free to contact the office at 517-782-3453 should you have questions, concerns, or suggestions. Thank you!
