Celebrate Father’s Day with a hands‑on woodworking experience that’s both fun and functional! In this special Dad & Me Class, you and your teen will work side‑by‑side to create a beautiful, two‑piece cribbage board—complete with built‑in peg storage and magnets to keep it securely closed.
Choose your look: Maple, Mahogany, Walnut, or Cherry blanks will be available, so every board is truly unique. Perfect for beginners and hobbyists alike, the class includes step‑by‑step guidance from our expert instructors.
What You’ll Do Together
- Cut & size your selected wood pieces
- Drill recesses for magnetic closures and peg storage
- Drill peg holes with the Rockler Cribbage Board Template System
- Sand edges, corners, and surfaces using Rockler sanding tools
- Apply a finish, buff it off, and take home your handcrafted game board

Frequently asked questions
This class requires the use of power tools, which requires the attendee to be 14 years or older. Attendees below 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire class. If a parent or legal guardian is required to attend, only 1 ticket is required.
Safety glasses or face shields, hearing protection, gloves, and dust respirators will be provided free of charge as needed. No loose clothing should be worn, long sleeves should be rolled up, long hair should be tied back. No open-toed shoes can be worn during classes.
