Dad Joke Competition ( & Comedy Related to Dads) + Comedy Show

Grab your friends and family for this unforgettably fun and funny comedy show in honor of Father’s Day!

The first half of the show is a Dad Joke Competition (& all comedy Dad Related), divided by Amateur and “Pros”followed by feature act Bassil Kamas and headliner Liz Grant.

Funny enough, both Bassil and Liz are both highly acclaimed, professional massage therapists (whose clients are usually unaware they are both comedians:) First place Amateur prize is a couples massage in Bassil's specially designed room inside Perceptions. Comedy extra?;)

Headliner Liz Grant has opened for Robin Williams, Dana Carvey and George Lopez. She won the Brian Regan Impression Contest, and wrote for George Carlin’s laugh.com. She got her imaginative, smart, silly and physical comedy style from her favorite comedian, her hippie dad.

She has been a professional massage therapist for longer than she wishes to admit. Referencing her over two decades working in high end spas she jokes “I did hard time in the meat mines.” She's producing a podcast called Massaging Comedy, where she gives massages to comedians.

Bassil Kamas (Punch Line, Laughs Unlimited) Bassil Kamas (Punch Line, Laughs Unlimited) at current may best be known for his massage therapy at Perceptions MedSpa where he's also as The King of Dad Jokes. He’s a happily married guy and a true family man to four lucky kids. His material is clean, quick and clever.

*Competition will be divided by Amateurs (1-3 minute sets) and Pros (3-5 minute sets.) Audience will vote for the winners.First place Amateur Winner will receive a gift certificate for a Couples Massage in Bassil’s specially designed massage room inside Perceptions MedSpa in Fair Oaks. First place "Pro" Winner gets $50 cash.*
