What if I confirm my attendance but can no longer go?

This is a free event for the community with limited seats. If you cannot go, please CANCEL your order through Eventbrite. You can do this in your Order Confirmation or within your Eventbrite dashboard. This is important so everyone can go who wants to attend.

Will it be live streamed?

Accepted Answer

No, due to technical constraints within the Library we will not be live streaming the event. However, we will be releasing a recording after the event has ended. Please contact your neighborhood association with any questions.

Will there be live questions from the audience?

Accepted Answer

No, to ensure we maximize time hearing from the candidates we will only have questions pre-determined by the organizers. However, we encourage you to submit questions in this form when reserving your spot. The neighborhoods will also be sending out a survey asking for questions.

Can I suggest a question?

Yes! After you complete your order, it will ask if you would like to suggest a question to the candidates. The organizers will aggregate submissions before the event to ask the most popular questions.

Question 5

What is the difference between a debate and a forum?

We are calling this event a forum rather than a debate because we want to maximize the candidates time with answering questions rather than rebuttals back and forth. This is to ensure the audience learns as much as possible about the positions of the candidates.

When can I enter?

Doors will open at 5 PM and the event starts at 5:30 PM.

Does it cost money?

No, the event is free thanks to our neighborhood associations. Please only confirm a spot if you are sure you can attend the event.
