CYDC and CMP New Coordinator Professional Development Session

Due to the complicated and varying demands within each JD, “operational discussions” become mistaken for “strategic discussions”. Often, key discussions and expectations of JSPC and IOG members, staff and organizational performance are never held. Leading Associations will help Coordinators identify key discussions they can lead within their JD.

Key focus areas will include:

JSPC and IOG management practices

JSPC and IOG meeting preparation

Getting and keeping JSPC and IOG member engaged

New Coordinators face a particular challenges that create tremendous opportunity. With the home-rule structure in Colorado, as well as the fiscal agent structure, the overall CYDC and CMP and Coordinator roles are complicated.

This Professional Development program will explore best practices that long serving Coordinator colleagues use for success and address challenges that new Coordinators face.
