Cybersecurity Launch Summit
Thu, April 6, 2017, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
Join Tandem Innovation Alliance and The MITRE Corporation on Thursday, April 6th at 6 pm at MITRE's headquarters in McLean, Va for an evening devoted to the local cybersecurity industry and the startups growing in it.
The Cybersecurity Launch Summit will be Tandem Innovation Alliance's inaugural event. Grown out of the TandemNSI community, Tandem Innovation Alliance is focused on the greater Washington region's local emerging technology companies.
Cybersecurity is the fastest growing market in the D.C. area. Our distinguished panel will discuss the current makeup of the Washington cybersecurity industry with a focus on building more cybersecurity product companies. Of the nearly 1,000 cybersecurity related firms in the region, only about 5 percent are focused solely on cybersecurity products.
Following the panel, Tandem Innovation Alliance and MITRE selected five cybersecurity product companies to provide lightning pitches to offer insight into the next great innovations that could transform the industry. The companies presenting will be: Steel Mountain, Ostendio, IDVector, SecuLore Solutions, and Tensor Wrench.
Come hungry, food, drinks and plenty of networking opportunities with industry and government leaders will be provided.
