WHAT: Inaugural STEM Event Cyber Fortress 2045 Capture the Flag Hack-A-Thon
WHEN: Saturday May 4, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WHERE: Virginia Army National Guard Armory - 9797 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA 22030
EQUIPMENT: You can bring tablets or school laptops but it is highly encouraged for you to bring your own personal laptops.
ADDTL INFO: Wi-Fi will be provided. The game is web based and nothing will need to be downloaded or installed on your computers.
PURPOSE: As part of our community partnerships and outreach, our goal is to mentor/assist students who possess an interest in pursuing a career in IT or Cyber.
FOOD: We will have bottled water, fresh fruit/granola bars for snacks and lunch will also be provided. When you RSVP let me know if you would like a Turkey, Chicken or Vegetable Sandwhich! If anyone has food allergies or vegan/gluten free/alternate food preferences – please let us know and we will plan accordingly for your student!
PARKING: Spaces are limited so carpooling or being dropped off/picked up is highly encouraged.
