Come and experience the magical world of cyanotype sun printing!A cyanotype is a photographic printing process that creates a blue and white print. We will use real flora and the power of the sun to create a collection of artworks. It is a wonderful and simple process that leaves you wanting more!In this workshop we will discuss and explore the process of making cyanotypes. All necessary materials will be supplied. Everyone will receive multiple sheets of A5 and A4 pre-coated paper as well as a 5x7inch double glass metal hanging frame to take home and frame your own cyanotype original art work. What to bring;-sunscreen and a hat as we will be spending some time outside-any objects or flowers that you would like to work with-wear enclosed shoes-not your best clothes, wear something you don’t mind getting dirtyAs we will be working with the sun, we are hoping for a bright sunny day or as close to that as possible. You can make cyanotypes in almost any weather conditions, even cloud cover, it can just make for longer exposure times and the results may vary. In the event that the weather on this day ends up being less than desirable we may need to reschedule the workshop for another weekend. If it comes to that you will be given the option to reschedule or a refund, less the eventbrite fee.Please contact Tracey on 0419847150 with any questions. Cancellations within 48 hours will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours will not receive a refund.
