Step out into the fresh air and join us for a casual Walk-and-Talk around the stunning Tidal Basin in Washington D.C., a perfect spot to take in beautiful views while meeting new people. This gathering is open to everyone in their 20s and 30s, whether you’re a quiet soul who prefers your own space or someone with an already large social circle looking to connect with folks who share your passions. If you’re dealing with toxic friends, come find your people here. If your current circle doesn’t understand your deep love of that one specific hobby, we want you to meet the person who does. If you’ve been holed up in your room for too long, then you simply must show up... consider this your sign!

Where do we meet?

We meet at the Jefferson Memorial for instructions from the CVFFD Elysium Host. From there, the group will walk a pre-planned trail around the Tidal Basin at a leisurely pace with a chance for you to converse with the people that get you the most.

What should I wear?

Fashionable Spring Casual Wear with comfy shoes is a great way to spend the evening walking with friends.

What gifts will be given?

Complimentary gifts will be given at the end of the event for event attendees who have already completed their event matchmaking forms.

What happens if I'm late or can't make it to the event?

Please send us a message at least 24 hours before the start of the event so that we can issue you a refund. We aim to find a compatible friend for everyone so please do come so you don't miss out on a great friend.

Are people only in their 20s and 30s invited to the event?

Yes, we aim to match age groups so life experiences match up well. If you are 2 years above or below, you can also sign up for our event. Note that nobody below the age of 18 can participate.

Why is a matchmaking company holding events for friends?

We decided that friends play an integral role in anyone's life and even people in relationships need friends. Heck, everyone needs friends and in this technologically apt society we live in, it's even more difficult making friends in person & in the physical sense compared to say in the 80s or 90s.
