Forest-school activities at Coeden Fach. Nature based outdoor fun, learning session in the hut, sit round a fire.

Coeden Fach Community Tree Nursery

For nature-lovers aged 5-12, with a parent or carer: art and craft activities to immerse you in the natural world and learn more about it. Maybe make a collage, play games and bake an apple in the fire. Arrive at 4 p.m. - bring a snack as you'll need plenty of energy! We'll provide some fruit and apples for baking. Come in suitable clothing for the weather, and wear boots or sturdy shoes.We anticipate this event will sell out fast, so don't delay.

This is a strictly ticketed event so we can manage numbers. T﻿here is a minimal charge for child tickets. All must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who is free of charge.Sorry we can't absorb Eventbrite fees, but we are keeping the cost to a minimum as this event is supported by a grant from the People's Postcode Lottery and Clyne Valley Community Project.

Led by experienced Forest School leader Kate Davies at her tree nursery, Coeden Fach.All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. How to find us:PLEASE NOTE MILL LANE IS CLOSED FOR ROADWORKS ON THIS DAY SO YOU CANNOT ACCESS MILL LANE CAR PARK BY CAR. H﻿owever, if you can walk there through Clyne Woods, you can walk up to the site, which is a bit further up on the left hand side - look out for the colourful gate (see picture below). Please do not use Mill Lane.From the other direction, you can park in Westport Avenue but NOT St Catwg please. Better still, walk to the site via Mill Lane, Clyne Woods, or Clyne Gardens. Here&#x27;s the instructions through the gardens:You can walk into our site from Clyne gardens if you come up past the tea van on your right and story tree on your left. At the top of the hill where the path turns to the left to go across the top of the park, you will see our gates and entrance to the right. We have a Coeden Fach banner on the fence. We are right next to the community orchard and have a wooden building and polytunnel within our site.
