Dr. Rebecca Tapia, a brain injury specialist at the University of Texas and faculty member in Science in Design, joins forces with Kate Bendewald, a Science in Design Certified professional, to explore the powerful connection between medicine and design. Together, they’ll reveal how both fields gather meaningful insights from clients to promote better health outcomes.

Designers will discover how they can create spaces that truly heal! By applying proven strategies from medicine to collect the right data, you’ll gain valuable guidance to enhance well-being in ways that go beyond traditional healthcare. Dr. Tapia and Kate will lead us through the process of identifying individual health and wellness goals—and translating them into impactful, health-centered design.
