Custom Perfume Making Workshop

Discover the art of perfumery in this hands-on workshop where you'll craft your own signature scent using a blend of fragrance oils and essential oils.

Explore notes like amber, sandalwood, rose, jasmine, nutmeg, and bergamot as you learn the basics of top, middle, and base notes — and how to layer them into a balanced, beautiful fragrance.

Each participant will create two custom perfumes to take home:

• An alcohol-based spray perfume — a lightweight, classic format perfect for everyday wear
• An oil-based roll-on perfume — infused with dried botanicals for a beautiful, personalized finishing touch

Guided by Angela Carillo of Alegna Soap, you'll experiment with different scent combinations, test notes on blotter strips, and fine-tune your blend before bottling. All oils, alcohol bases, dried botanicals, bottles, and labels are included.

Angela Carillo is a licensed and certified Medical Technologist who started making soap as a hobby in 1999. In 2010, she started her company, Alegna Soap. A member of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild and Indie Business, Angela has spoken at soap conferences around the country. She teaches soap-making classes in NYC, on Long Island, and has traveled to Haiti to teach for the Lovin' Soap Project.
