On the closing days of The Map and the Territory: 100 Years of Collecting at UCLA and UCLA Bruin Family Weekend, please join us at the Fowler Museum for a gallery walk-through with Chief Curator Matthew H. Robb. Learn more about this exhibition, which presents selections from the vast holdings of the university’s diverse collections of rare books, works of art, musical instruments, meteorites, bird specimens, and more. Space is limited for this in-person program.
Entry Requirements (full details in confirmation email):
1. Guests must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth at all times
2. Guests must bring one (1) of the following + valid photo ID
-Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19
-Proof of Negative COVID test no older than 72 hours. Test results must include first & last name, date of sample collection, and negative result
Matthew H. Robb has served as chief curator of the Fowler Museum since 2016. He oversees the museum’s diverse exhibitions and collections devoted to the ancient, traditional, and contemporary cultures of Africa, Native and Latin America, Asia, and the Pacific. Prior to joining the staff of the Fowler, he was the first curator of the Arts of the Americas at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. Robb holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University; a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin; and a PhD from Yale University.
