You can buy a ticket in advance here or pay in cash or interac tranfer ($20) at the door.

No food or drinks provided but there is a water fountain so bring a reusable water bottle!

What to Expect at Our Valentine’s Scottish Ceilidh 💕

A Scottish ceilidh (pronounced KAY-lee) is a joyful, social dance—perfect for Valentine’s Day. It’s less about fancy footwork and more about connection, laughter, and sharing a great evening together. No dance experience needed!

The Dancing

• Dances are done in groups (circles, lines, and sets) and partners usually change every dance so it’s a great way to meet people. If you prefer to dance with someone you know, you don’t have to change after each dance
• A caller will explain each dance before it starts and guide everyone through the steps as you go.
• The dances are easy to pick up, with simple patterns that repeat.
• Expect spinning, skipping, clapping, and the occasional happy mix-up, it’s all part of the charm.

What to Wear

• Wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
• Choose flat, secure shoes, you’ll be on your feet and twirling around.
• Festive Valentine’s touches or tartan flair are very welcome, but not required.

A Few Helpful Tips

Bring water, you may work up a sweat.

Don’t worry about getting every step right; just listen, follow along, and smile.

If you’re unsure, your fellow dancers will happily help. Ceilidhs are a team effort!
