Cultural Competency in Coaching
Facilitated by Stone Cairns

This powerful interactive Cultural Competency workshop was designed by ICF Global to increase cultural awareness in coaching. The purpose of the workshop is to create a safe space where coaches can discuss and gain cultural knowledge and awareness. By challenging our own ideas around culture, we can build more inclusive spaces for our clients and coaching community.

We will ask you to lean into spaces you may not have considered and help us design places of belonging. At the end of this workshop, you will have the ability to:

  • Recognize the difference among cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity
  • Display personal cultural proficiency during coaching
  • Distinguish the six stages of cultural competency
  • Define intercultural communication and describe its importance in coaching

2.0 CCE units = 1.5 Core Competency + 0.5 Resource Development

NOTE: This session will not be recorded.
