Cultivating Connections

Farm School NYC offers urban agriculture training through a year long Citywide Program as well as Public Offerings, like this one.  Our courses are taught by experts in the field, and focus on a wide range of topics from urban land stewardship techniques, to food justice, to planning & design.  Through engaging, place-based education, Farm School classes cultivate future leaders in the movement for food sovereignty.

Learn how your growing space can connect with agencies like the Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS), local soil and water conservation districts, the NYC Farm Service Agency, and local cooperative extension offices. This program was created in partnership with <a href="https://www.blackfarmersunited.org" title="https://www.blackfarmersunited.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Black Farmers United—NYS</a>, National Association of Conservation Districts, Farm Services Agency, Pecan Street, and <a href="https://www.farmschoolnyc.org" title="https://www.farmschoolnyc.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Farm School NYC</a>.
