Join Us for Culinary Skill Development Training! Enhance your culinary expertise in this comprehensive two-day training designed for school nutrition professionals. Ideal for kitchen managers and head cooks, each school district may enroll up to four representatives.

This training is specifically for staff working in K-12 school nutrition programs that operate the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP). This includes school nutrition directors, managers, and staff who support meal service within a school district.

Yes! This is an interactive training where participants will spend time in the kitchen preparing recipes and practicing cooking techniques. Be prepared to actively participate in hands-on meal preparation.
Yes! Lunch will be provided on both training days. The meals prepared during the hands-on cooking sessions will be served.
Since you will be working in a kitchen setting, please wear: Closed-toe, non-slip shoes (no sandals or heels) Comfortable clothing suitable for kitchen work Hair restraint (hat, hairnet, or ponytail)
This training is free for eligible participants. However, space is limited, so please register only if you are certain you can attend.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible so we can offer the spot to someone on the waitlist.
