In June we are traveling to Iran for our Culinary Passport series. Our Culinary Passport series explores the histories, traditions and cultures of different cultures around the world. Other destinations we’ve toured; Spain, Israel, South Korea, & more..

ABOUT THE EVENT:Join us at Kasra Persian Grill at Rice Village for an enchanting evening celebrating the flavors of Iranian cuisine! We will have a delightful journey through the rich culinary traditions of Iran.

We will also have featured guest speaker:

Manocher Bozorg Mehrian, President of the Association of Iranian American Professionals, speak on Iranian culture and culinary delights.

We will also be joined that evening with remarks by Chef Alireza Delavari, co-owner and chef of Kasra Persian Grill.

Delavari traveled internationally to learn from famous chefs in Asia, Europe, and the USA. He also studied different ethnic foods and restaurants. His experiential immersion in food and culture solidified his distinct cooking and restaurant management style.

Delavari has been recognized with over twenty certificates from esteemed, highly skilled chefs in Iran and internationally. His culinary journey is enriched by firsthand experiences, where he has acquired and honed cooking skills under the mentorship of these culinary maestros.
