Cuddle Tacoma

Come join us for a playful and cozy Cuddle Party in Tacoma, WA, USA! This in-person event begins with a playshop in embodied consent. You will have a chance to explore creating boundaries, establishing consent and clearly communicating your wants and needs in a low stakes environment. Then we'll move into the free form portion of the event where you practice your new skills by connecting with others in an exchange of nurturing touch. Cuddling, spooning, head petting and holding hands are some of the many options to try. What would feel good to your body today?

This event is all about choice and giving voice to what is true for you in the moment. All touch will be verbally consented to and no touch is ever required. Changing your mind is encouraged This is platonic and substance free event (including no cannabis).

This event will be presented by Audrey Hamel, a certified Cuddle Party Facilitator

Please consider others and stay home if you are feeling sick or have had direct exposure to someone who is sick. Masks are welcomed, but not required. There will be an air filter running for the duration of the event.

Is this a good place for me to work through trauma surrounding touch?

No. This is not a therapeutic setting and while I work to be trauma informed, I do not have the skills necessary to assure you the support you may need. Please work with someone who specializes in trauma, you deserve to heal.
