CU Hackathon 2018

The Consortium Enabling Cybersecurity Opportunities & Research (CECOR) is a collaborative effort among thirteen colleges and universities, one public school district, two national laboratories, and a DOD facility to develop a K-20 pipeline for cybersecurity workforce. As a CECOR academic partner, Claflin University is focusing on providing exposure to K-20 students to computing and cybersecurity concepts through student outreach, computing and cyber focused learning events, and engagement of university students in cybersecurity research activities.

Calling undergraduate students interested in programming and computing!
 
Join us for our annual Bootcamp and Hackathon at Claflin University. This 2- day event will include a workshop day and hacking challenge day.
Day one (4.20.18 from 9am to 4pm); students will learn linux fundamentals, on-site mentorship advice & resume review with Microsoft Strategic Sourcing Manager Christopher Meullion, APIs, Python basics and more!
Day two (4.21.18 from 11am to 3pm); challenge yourself by developing a web program!
