Frequently asked questions
No worries! The official reunion has a generous cancellation policy: "A full refund will be granted if you cancel by Wednesday, May 22, at 5:00 p.m. EST."
Friday @ Brass Monkey: YES! We have confirmed they have an elevator and entryways have sufficient clearance for motorized wheelchairs. Saturday @ 111th st. businesses (Ten Twenty, V&T, Hula Poke, Insomnia Cookies, Hungarian Pastry, Tartina) and surrounding block: YES!
We cannot guarantee privacy at either event. There may be press, as well as attendees taking photos that could be shared on social media. We will be distributing stickers for attendees, with one color designating "no photos please!"
CC, SEAS, GS, Barnard, 2014 and surrounding years. This event has come together in lieu of the 10 year reunion. If you are a different year, you are still welcome to come, but there may not be many people you know!! All other years (esp. significant milestone years)--talk with us about collaboration
The original event cost $150 for the registration fee, plus $85 for each party/dinner. With Fri/Sat events, it would have cost $320 per person. Our event is free, you just pay for food and drinks at venues. We invite you to redirect the $150 fee equivalent to one of the linked direct aid orgs!
Buy them yourself! :) At the bar on Friday and each of the 111/Amsterdam businesses on Saturday, you can either order at the bar or at your table, and pay individually or in your own small groups of friends. TIP THE STAFF WELL! If you're feeling generous, buy your classmates a pitcher or two!
We are not exactly a "block party" but something similar. We are all convening at 111/Amsterdam and patronizing the businesses, where you can buy your own food and drink. Some (poke, cookies, pizza) you can take outside but alcohol must remain indoors. The block will be closed to traffic until 7 pm.
These events take place in public settings--we have no exclusive rentals here, except our one floor of the downtown bar. We cannot control who will be at these events, but we will have some of us designated as event organizers, identifiable with lanyards. Let us know if there are any problems!
We will have tables with stickers for our event, as well as nametags to write your name, school, and grad year. Some stickers will be designated as "no photo please!," indicating that person does not want to be photographed unless they give explicit permission.
All are welcome to mask, but we are not able to mandate this. Some parts of the events take place indoors in bars and restaurants, but both have outdoor components (rooftop Friday, full block on Saturday). PLEASE DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK. We encourage covid tests prior to the events.
