The Children's Safety Village Virtual 5K Event was created to support our programs and services. All ages welcome.

<h1>About the Children's Safety Village</h1><p>For over 25 years, the Children’s Safety Village has educated over 100,000 children in the Central Florida community on safety education. Children learn about pedestrian safety, water safety, fire safety, 911 for Kids, bike &amp; helmet safety, dangerous person awareness, gun safety, poison safety and internet safety, all on our 8-acre complex equipped with paved streets, an indoor pool, sidewalks, a working stop light, interactive fire safety house, classrooms, playground, pavilion and child sized buildings in our mini-village. Children get hands-on experience through roll-playing during their visit. This 5K event will raise money to support programs and services offered for the children of Central Florida. </p><p></p><h1>How to Participate!</h1><p>Sign up to run or walk 3.1 miles wherever you  safely can, like at the park, on your treadmill or in your neighborhood. Bring a friend to add to the fun. </p><p>For your $25 donation, you receive an event t-shirt, finisher medal, finisher certificate and other Safety Village items. </p>
