CSB - AIG 2017 Symposium 

The society is an authority on ICT research, development and practices in Botswana and is the champion sponsor of the furtherance of ICT penetration in trading Botswana and at different scholastic platforms. It will accomplish these goals through strategic liason with passionate professionals in the country to establish a code of conduct and a commitment to practices and researches that will promote the highest standard of computing in the world, starting at this corner of the world, Botswana.

Participation is free but registration is essential
Participation through exhibition is open to those who have ICT applications and hardware to demonstrate at a token fee of P500.
In fulfilling its objectives the association is planning its first annual forum to bridge the Gap between Academia, Industry, and Government (AIG) to benefit End-Users. The symposium will convene the most senior representatives from government, universities, and industry to update the community on ICT developments in the different sectors. This year’s CSB AIG 2017 forum will focus on - The current state of ICT in Botswana and future trends. The target audience of the forum is end-users, developers, vendors, and anyone who is interested in ICT.
 
The symposium with bring together speakers from various industries. Some expected topics to be covered include:

<LI>The present and future of ICT in the education sector in Botswana </LI>
<LI>The future of  telemedicine services in hospitals and clinics across rural areas of Botswana </LI>
<LI>Delivering successful IT-enabled business change -The role of the private sector  in Botswana </LI>
