Event description

Description

The popularity of C.S. Lewis among Lutherans might at first blush seem odd - there are several major theological divergences between Lewis' high church Anglicanism and Lutheran theology. However, our symposium will explore some deeper theological connections between the theological vision expressed in Lewis' devotional and fictional writings and Lutheran theology. Themes of grace, discipleship, ethics, and the purpose of theology in Lewis and Luther will be addressed. Our speaker is Rev. Dr. Rob Saler of Christian Theological Seminary, Indianapolis, IN
