The Gala will pay homage to remarkable individuals whose groundbreaking contributions have shaped the world of fashion and modeling. Among the esteemed recipients are renowned models

Nancy Donahue, Alva Chinn, Renaud White, Tony Spinelli, Shaheed Shaheed, and Alvin Clayton-Hernandez. Additionally, esteemed fashion designers Lewis Beilharz, Christopher Korey,

Larry Underwood and Richard Quinones all will be honored for their extraordinary craftsmanship and innovation.

Furthermore, the gala will feature special recognition awards for outstanding achievements in fashion design and modeling. Designer Richard Petit and model Cleo LaQueen Lucas will be celebrated for their exceptional talent and influence in the industry.

The gala will be graced by distinguished presenters, including Mayor Eric Adams or representatives from his office, Kent Torain of World of Worlds Entertainment, and Ja'Dee Murphy, CEO and Chief Editor of RARE Fashion Publications.

The evening's program promises to be a dazzling affair, commencing with a red carpet reception for media and guests, followed by a cocktail reception at 7:15 PM. The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the awards ceremony, scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM. Mayor Eric Adams or his representatives will present awards to select recipients, followed by presentations from Kent Torain and Ja'Dee Murphy.

Attendees will also be treated to captivating fashion shows, showcasing men's and women's collections from esteemed designers. Throughout the evening, sponsors will be acknowledged for their generous support.

In August 2001, Kent organized the Masters of The Underground Awards Ceremony at The Terrace Ballroom on Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey. Subsequent events included the Divas of The Underground Awards Ceremony in 2002 at Club Eclipse and the Jersey Sound Music Awards Ceremony in 2003, also at Club Eclipse.

Since 2012, Kent has been the Event Planner for the Club Zanzibar Reunion, introducing iconic awards and the Zanzibar Varsity Jacket. Unwavering in his desire to set trends and create thriving nightlife experiences, Kent has been a prominent figure in the event planning scene.

In 2022-2023, Kent undertook the Emily Miles Lifetime Fashion Achievement Awards project, which was abruptly halted by members of the family. This setback led to the creation of the Crystal Awards, with plans in place since September 2021. On Saturday, December 9, 2023, Kent made history with the Crystal Awards, marking a significant milestone in his 40-year journey from age 19 to 59.

Sharon "Magic" Jordan Roach, Lu Celania Sierria, and Ja'Dee Murphy, the CEO and chief editor of RARE fashion magazine, were the awardees.

Ja'Dee Murphy, a native New Yorker, is often described as stylish, grounded, and focused. Educated at the School of Visual Arts and Parson School of Designs, Ja'Dee's talents in writing, drawing, and theatrical arts were evident early on, earning him the Claudia Bronze Medal for Art and Designs at William Howard Taft High School.

With a diverse skill set encompassing acting, dancing, modeling, makeup artistry, and writing, Ja'Dee found his niche in model management, fashion show production, and talent representation. Influenced by his time with couturier Gustavo Huertas, he honed industry essentials like timing, technique, and "The Look."

In 1996, Ja'Dee founded B.M.E. (Black Male Enterprise), evolving into Tones Model Management, pioneering opportunities for Afro and Latino Americans in the fashion industry. His agency, now JDM Model Management, has left an indelible mark, collaborating with top designers and appearing in renowned publications and TV shows.

Ja'Dee's photography journey, spanning just a decade, has earned him acclaim from both coasts. His lens has captured celebrities, musicians, and models, showcased in esteemed publications and commercial projects.
